Outdoors for Everyone
Volunteer
Would you like to help Milton Country Park? We are looking for amazing individuals who want to make a long-lasting positive impact in their local community.
Our volunteering is very flexible, and can fit in your daily life. There's no regular commitment - you can do it as a one-off or as a regular weekly session. What’s more, all training and equipment will be provided – you do not need to have any prior experience to get stuck in!

Typical volunteer activities can include tree planting, hedge cutting, scrub clearance, mowing, and site infrastructure repairs.

If you are interested to join our weekly volunteer sessions, or simply want to find out more information, please feel free to contact our Estate Manager at geoff@cambridgesportlakes.org.uk

Volunteers with Special Educational Needs (SENs)
At the park we also have extensive experience of running volunteer sessions tailored towards adults and young adults with SENs. We offer people from all backgrounds and abilities the chance to learn new outdoor skills, interact with their environment, and socialise with other people.

Corporate Volunteer Days

At Milton Country Park we also offer one-off or semi-regular corporate volunteer days for organisations that are looking to support their local environment, give back to their community, and have fun!

Volunteering with us as an organisation could be part of a team-building away day, or could contribute to your environmental responsibility program.

Corporate volunteer group sizes are limited to a maximum of 15 people, which helps us to keep track of the group's well being.
If you are interested in arranging a corporate volunteer half day at the park, or simply want to find out more information, please feel free to contact our Estate Manager at geoff@cambridgesportlakes.org.uk

Events
The park has a busy events program and is often in need of volunteers to help on the day. Volunteers can help with many different activities such as marshaling, manning information points, running stalls, helping bankside during water activities, carrying out surveys, preparing the site and packing down at the end of the day. There is always a great atmosphere during an event and it's a fun way to get involved and meet new people. You can also offer your services as a corporate team and promote your good work in the process! If you would like to help at our next event please enquire through mcp@cambridgesportlakes.org.uk .
Thank you!
